This is my very first masterpiece! This pattern is my own ^_^ I had so much fun figuring this guy out, and I think he just came out amazing (not to toot my own horn lol) I used some other amigurumi giraffes for ideas, but this guy is completely mine ^_^
I am open for commissions, so just send me a note if you are interested ^_^
This doll appears well proportioned, indicated that considerable thought and skill has gone into developing the pattern. The shape keeps in line with the cuteness factor expected of amigurumi dolls, while at the same time being a nice change in that in this pattern the artist has embraced the length of the giraffe's neck, rather that settling for the squatter look that is common in many amigurumi dolls.
The phyiscally doll itself also looks well made. The crochet sticks are tight, neat and event, and the pieces looks like they have been sewn together with the patience and consideration required. The finishing touches in the face top the doll off nicely, making it every bit as cute as is expected from amigurumi dolls.
I absolutely love this giraffe, there simply aren't other giraffe amigurumi patterns as cute as this one out there. I would love the pattern, but I'm not sure how commissions work. Could you possibly explaining it to me?
You deserve to toot your own horn that is an incredible piece of work that is so cute it makes you think you can talk to it. I*m sticking my neck out for this one - lol... i really want this pattern. My email....bettyjanekozi@aol.com maybe we can negotiate a reasonable price... remember i am sticking my neck out so if you take toooo long i*ll end up with a stiff neck....ouch! Lol Happy crocheting!
